I was working on Summon Night X, but it seems I've been scooped. There's someone who's much further along than I am, so I'm dropping the project for now. I'll pick it back up again if the other translation is never released or is of poor quality. Anyway, I need something else to work on.
What JP-only JRPG do you want to see in English? Restrictions. No games published by Sega or Square-Enix.

They're pretty zealous about enforcing their copyrights. No games from the Trails series. They have too much text for one person to translate in a reasonable amount of time.
Keep in mind this would be a text or video translation guide, not a patch, unless you can get me a script dump and inserter, so games with lots of branches are probably less desirable candidates than games that are more linear. It's sometimes less work to play with a kanji dictionary open than to try and read a translated script in sync with gameplay. More educational that way, too. Ed sheeran thank you ep zip codes.
I played FF7 with a script, and then did a shitty job of translating Chrono Cross while I played it. Had a vastly better time with CC. My Japanese has atrophied to nothing, but if a really great RPG came out that wasn't going to get translated, I'd still prefer the hard way. Doubly so if it's one of the games that has furigana; then half the work is done for you. Tales of Destiny 2! (not eternia!) Also Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Destiny Director's Cut, Tales of Phantasia PSP, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 & 3, Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave, Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon series, Tales of Fandom series. Thank goodness some wonderful people did the work themselves and translated Phantasia (SNES/PS1) and Innocence!!
At least Namco now is doing a bit better on bringing Tales games for us to play, just work on your PC ports better please!

Depending on the wars you win and the paths you choose, you get to different endings. For a happily ever after, use your forces wisely. The battle scenes are fully voiced and you get to hear the spells being chanted by famous seiyuus such as Horie Yui (Vampire Knights: Kurosu Yuki) and Tanaka Rie (Gundam Seed: Lacus).
